Robert Conrad was an American film and television actor, singer, and stunt man. Robert is commonly known for his role in the television series ‘The wild West.’ He played the role of secret service agent James T. West. He was also a singer, and he has recorded numerous pop songs in 1950 and 1966. He also hosts a weekly two-hour national radio show, namely the P.M show with Robert Conrad. He began working in the industry in the year 1953.
He was born in Chicago. When he was born, his father was 17 years old, and his mother was 15 years old. He attended schools in Chicago, including South shore High school, Hyde Park High school, the YMCA Central school, and New trier high school. He dropped out of school to work full time. He Used to load trucks for consolidated freight ways and eastern freight ways and drive milk trucks for Chicago’s bowman dairy. He studied theatre arts at North Western University.
He was married to his first wife, Joann, for 25 years, and they had five children. In 1977, they got divorced. He married his second wife, LaVelda Lone fan. They both had three children. In 2010 they both got separated.
On March 31, 2003, He met with an accident while driving on highway 4 in California Sierra Nevada foothills. He slammed head-on into a Subaru. It was moved by Kevin Bernett, who was 26 years old. Both of them suffered injuries. It was found that dad was drunk driving. He was sentenced to six months of house confinement, alcohol counseling, and probation of 5 years. When Conrad was 84 years of age, he died because of heart failure in Malibu, California.
