5 Models of Police Car in Your Favorite Movies and Series

The police car is an amazing ground vehicle. It’s often used by police during patrols, and also transport them when cases and incidents arise.

In some cases, the most astonishing characters in movies don’t express a line by a stretch of the imagination. What they do is burn the rubber.

A lot of movie fans can run through their best cars (including police cars) from TV shows and motion pictures just as easily as they can list the names of their favorite actors.

This article lists different models of police cars you have probably seen in some of your favorite movies and TV shows.

Top Police Car Models That Appeared Movies

Below are some of the models of cars in your favorite movies.

Aston Martin DB5 (Goldfinger)

James bond series always use a model of police car that viewers never expect. Aston Martin devoted a piece of its landing page to the film series. This James Bond series had the Aston Martin DB5 as a police car. Truth be told, sometime in 2018, the firm announced that it would make twenty-five amusements of tricked-out cars Sean Connery rode in the movie, made with rotating number plates and other gadgets in movie style. This will cost roughly $3.5 million each.

The 1958 Plymouth Fury (Christine)

This car was used in Christine, a horror flick. The car itself is a nightmare because of its outlook. Over twenty cars were used in the film, Christine, a variation of Stephen King’s novel. In 2015, one of these cars was sold to a collector – for close to $200,000.

Porsche 928 (Risky Business)

Why was Porsche in the movie, Risky Business? Porsche needed nothing to do with this movie as well as its naughty transitioning plot. However, that did not stop the makers of the 1983 model from freely assembling around five 928s during the movie recording.

The 2004 Pontiac Aztek (Breaking Bad)

You will agree that many people have been hard on the Pontiac Aztek. Sure, it certainly qualifies as an acquired taste – yet its starring role in the AMC faction classic (Breaking Bad) made it cool once more. This car model was spot-on for the Walter White car.

This is because it’s been so defamed. It was said that the car was bludgeoned as an ideal illustration of mindless compliance and bad management decisions at GM (General Motors).

The 1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback (Bullitt)

The car delivered one of the best chase scenes in the history of a motion picture. This was fully demonstrated when Lieutenant Frank Bullitt chased a group of armed hitmen on the city of San Francisco with one of the best Ford Mustangs rides.

A large part of the driving was done by Steve McQueen himself. Keep in mind, he wanted to keep the vehicle as one of his collections. But it soon went into private hands after the movie was completed. Every attempt for the actor to purchase it failed.

Conclusion

There are lots of interesting movies with nice police cars. The chases were amazing. Finally, in most cases, these police cars are recked because they are used for stunts.
